Wind-in-the-Pines Girl Scout Center, Plymouth
The beautiful building provides:
- a home for our environmental programming
- year-round indoor program space
- year-round troop camping shelter
- a permanent home for our climbing wall
Environmental stewardship is a valued tradition in Girl Scouting, and it is a key component of our program today. Girl Scouts respect our natural surroundings.
In 1999, we became the first all-girl organization in the area to build a climbing wall. The wall is constantly in demand, as climbing is a core element of our challenge program.
Our troops now have a spacious indoor camping hall, heated for use all year. The EDC opened in 2003.
